Meet the man in charge of our kitchen – Head Chef Dharamvir Kunwar…
Conscientious and hard hard-working, Dharam has been contributing the success of Chillies’ delicious dishes behind the scenes for over 4 years. The man who brought his specialty of Salmon tikka to our menu, the influences on his cooking are as wide and varied as his global culinary background. After spending 6 years cooking in the Middle East, he devoted another 7 adding to his recipe repertoire in Bombay, so you can be assured of the authenticity behind his flavours. The intrepid traveler didn’t stop there, however, as he spent another year working in Moscow before gracing our Glasweigan shores with his presence. Lucky for us and even luckier for Chillies’ customers’ tastebuds!
When he’s not planning menus or cooking up a storm of Indian cuisine, Dharam devotes his time to his little Kunwars – a father to two, one was only born a few months ago, so he’s cerrtainly got his hands full!
